Burundi English School (BES)

In its pursuit of ensuring excellence in education, BES has put in place measures that help students learn in an English system without any hindrance. All new students from both English and French systems have to sit for a Math and English placement tests from grade 1 up to the highest grade.

This placement test allows our teachers to see where to support your child/children to have required knowledge to pursue the Western Canada Curricula or Pearson Edexcel programmes taught at BES. The results of the placement test are communicated to parents and students, and the accompanying measures such as catch-up classes necessary to help students in need to reach the required level in the grade they are placed in. A reasonable cost for those catch-up classes is charged and communicated to the parents.
